I particularly enjoy hearing the old Scottish musics influence being brought back home to Scotland from America, similar to how the blues was brought back to America by the Brits. It's such a fantastic thing how cultures influence each other, and how that influence shapes the development of more cultures to come.
Loss of culture only happens when some are oppressed, otherwise there is no reason to fear loss of culture. Just listen to the music people still play from many hundreds of years ago. Everything comes back around, and really they never left, just things go in and out of popular style.
That’s a beautiful playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9twexIa5hRI
